The kids are great. Emma is still in swimming lessons, but has had a bit of a setback the past few lessons. For some reason, she hasn't been wanting to go in the pool. It has gotten bad enough to wear she has been crying and one night said she had a stomach ache and didn't want to go. Her teacher is pretty good and got her to put a bathing suit on last week and sit on the edge of the pool. Sure enough, in less than 5 minutes she was in the water swimming. So, I am not sure what is going on with that one.
Evan is in swimming lessons as well and is really, really enjoying them. He is in a private session and loves the attention and is really progressing well.
Emma is attending gymnastics tomorrow night with Kaylee as it is "bring a friend to gymnastics class". She is so excited as she has been talking about doing gymnastics for awhile. The timing never seemed right, so this could be a good trial run for next year.
In a few weeks, if it ever stops snowing - UGH, - the kids start T-ball and softball. Tim is the headcoach for Emma's team and Tim and I are both assistant coaches for Evan in T-ball. As Evan is young yet, they request a parent volunteer to help coach the little ones. As Tim is the head coach for Emma's, we both thought we would help out Evan. we have been outside playing catch now with the kids and they seem to really get into it, so it should be fun.
Once again, life only gets busier here, but it is all good and fun.
